John Rogers & Son
John & George Rogers potted at Longport and appear in directories from 1796 through to 1811. John then is listed alone in 1816, but was joined by his son Spencer. John Rogers & Son are listed between 1818 and 1841. Godden gives their dates as c.1814-36, although the latter must be in error.
Only one proper relief-moulded jug has been recorded, and that a copy of the Ridgway Rosette design, although they did produce one other jug which is a moulded version of a sprigged hunting design made by several potters in Staffordshire (see Henrywood BJ/363).
