J.W. Pankhurst (& Co.)
Pankhurst & Dimmock

James William Pankhurst is listed in the directories at Hanley in 1851, 1861 and 1864. The style "& Co". appears from 1852 right through to 1882. There are no specific entries for Pankhurst & Dimmock, the latter presumably being the "& Co."  Godden lists only J.W. Pankhurst & Co. with dates 1850 to 1882, noting that the "& Co." dates from c.1852.

The firms registered five jug designs between 1852 and 1856. They also produced one earlier design which was registered by William Ridgway in 1851.
