James Oldham is listed at Hanley in directories between 1860 and 1873. The style Oldham & Co. appears in 1872 and 1876. The firm is not listed in Godden although it does appear in the same author's Encyclopaedia of British Porcelain Manufacturers with dates c.1860-77 where advertisements for 1862 and 1867 are mentioned with the style of James Oldham & Co.
The firm registered one moulded jug in 1870.
