Leveson Hill

Leveson Hill appears at Eldon Street, Stoke in a directory for 1856 and then at Wharf Street from 1860 through to 1870. All the Wharf Street entries list the firm as being in the hands of executors. Mrs. M. Hill appears in Stoke in 1860; presumably Leveson Hill's widow? The firm is not listed in Godden M although it does appear, albeit briefly, in the same author's Encyclopaedia of British Porcelain Manufacturers with dates c.1859-71.

The firm specialised in parian, and two moulded jug designs were registered, in 1859 and 1861.
