John Hall & Sons

The brothers John & Ralph Hall potted in Burslem and Tunstall but separated in about 1822. John Hall is listed at the Sitch Pottery in Burslem in a directory of 1822. He took his sons into partnership and John Hall & Sons are listed, still in Burslem, in directories of 1828 and 1830. Godden gives confusing dates but lists John Hall & Sons at the Sytch Pottery, Burslem, circa 1822-32.

Only one marked relief-moulded jug design has been recorded.

Animal Hunting (not titled) A copy of the Animal Hunting design by John Denton Bagster. Some examples have a line of rope stringing around the base edge. Marks: impressed "I. Hall & Sons"
