The Don Pottery

The Don Pottery was founded at Swinton in Yorkshire in 1801 and had a long and illustrious history, surviving until 1893. Only two relief-moulded jugs have been recorded; they are discussed in some detail by John Griffin in his definitive volume The Don Pottery 1801-1893.
