Samuel & John Burton

Samuel & John Burton potted in New Street, Shelton, and are listed in directories from 1834 to 1841. Godden states that they succeeded James Keeling and gives their dates as 1832 to 1845. They produced at least three different relief-moulded jugs, each identified with the maker's initials and a model number in their moulded marks.
