The Dictionary of Blue and White Printed Pottery 1780-1880

The subject of blue and white printed pottery (or transferware) has been a perennial favourite amongst collectors of old pottery. The first volume of the Dictionary appeared in 1982 and was very well received. It proved sufficiently popular to be joined by a second volume in 1989 and both remained in print for very many years. Although not currently available new, secondhand copies are easily found. Try www.abebooks.co.uk where good copies are usually fairly inexpensive. The background colours of the dust jackets do vary (the contents are unchanged).
